Tip to Make Cheap International Phone Calls to & From the U.S.

Finally found a way to make cheap international calls. I downloaded the Vonage Time to Call iPhone app on my cell and tested it while in Mexico's Riviera Maya.? From Mexico, it was only 99 cents for 15 minutes of international calling time to the United States.

Using only a portion of it, I was able to tell my kids about caving and swimming in an underground river, and to confirm my dog was having a great time at dog adventure camp? My telephone carrier's special international rate was 59 cents a minute. Here's a review of Time to Call.

Learn to Snowshoe, Ski, Snowboard Free

January is the month to explore winter snowsports. Between the annual Winter Trails Day and the annual January Learn to Ski & Snowboard month, you can get free or greatly reduced price lessons for downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and snow shoeing at resorts across the country.

If you want to sample downhill skiing or snowboarding visit Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. Here, you'll find links to plenty of learn-to deals for first-time and novice downhill ski and snowboard lessons.

In New Hampshire there's a Learn to Ski & Snowboard Free Week from January 7-13. 2012. During this week, 19 NH ski areas will be offering a limited number of free learn to ski or snowboard packages. These packages include a free beginner lesson, free equipment rentals, and a free beginner lift ticket or trail pass to those who register in advance. Participants must visit Ski NH.com to register and download a Learn to Ski or Ride Free Coupon; they then contact one of the 19 participating areas to make a reservation for a specific day that week. Registration opens in mid-December.

Colorado Ski Country USA member resorts will be highlighting their Learn to Ski and Snowboard opportunities at ColoradoSki.com. Four independent resorts in Colorado - Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge and Vail – are also offering special learning programs through Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month.
